Ahh, hair trends. You have the power to make us do such questionable things. We talked to Senior Creative Director, Craig Taylor, and Senior Creative Colourist, Francesca Dixon, at\u00a0Hari\u2019s Salon\u00a0about the styles cool people are wearing now. Spoiler alert: it\u2019s not a massive side fringe.<\/p>\n

Sorry balayage (we’ll always love you), but this year our love affair is with graphic, chunky styles. The look? Bold, not blended. According to Francesca “It’s all about colour-pop face framers<\/a>. Thick, bleached pieces at the front of the head that are toned to contrast the rest of the hair”. The 80s called, it wants its hair cut back – that’s right, the mullet is officially back. “The mullet is the extreme version of the choppy cuts we’re seeing everywhere right now.”, Craig explains, “If you’re brave enough to try it, it’s seriously cool”. Made famous by the one and only Jane Fonda, the 70s Shag Cut<\/a> is a cool-girl favourite. “It’s about introducing layers and texture”, Craig tells us, “think Debbie Harry and Patti Smith.
