About
I founded Elaine's beauty care in 1992 on The Rise, Mount merrion.
I opened my second salon on Deerpark Road, Mount Merrion in 2011.
I initially studied business and worked in administration in Ucd, The Jones Group and Next Ltd.
I gained further experience as a manager in The Chair Store in California and San Francisco.
I followed on from there to work in New York where I made my decision to return to Ireland to study my first love at the Loriam Institute Dublin.
My love for the Beauty and Aesthetic industry was always at the forefront.
I qualified as an Aesthetician and specialised in electrolysis in 1986 and 1987.
I gained further experience working for well known and establised salons in Dublin before opening my own clinic.
I have always believed in staying current and educated and every year since I qualified I further educate myself in new treatments, products and technology.
I studied advanced Aesthetics and went on to qualify as a teacher and Assessor.
I recently opened my first College, Elaines Beauty Care College.
I attend trade shows yearly in Dublin, London and the states.
I love to travel to new countries and experience new treatments and discover new ways to improve the experience and quality of the service I offer.
I gained so much knowledge over time in various countries in Europe, Hong kong, Thailand, Turkey, Africa, Australia, and Hawaii.
I am passionate about Aesthetics, skin and education and quality standards.
I am particularly interested in peri menopause and menopausal skin and how we can improve our skin and stay young and fresh.
Beauty also comes from within and so it is just as important to treat your skin from the inside as it is from the outside.
Inner peace, contentment, happiness, nourishment, hydration, sleep and exercise are all important ingredients.
Did you know that 80% of the results rely on your home skin care rountine.
Book a consultation either in the salon or by zoom with Elaine to discuss your routine, needs, nutrition and health of your Skin.
I have always maintained a very high standard of hygiene in my clinic but with the recent covid pandeminc I would like to reassure all my clients old and new that all precautions will be strictly adherred to.
