ITEC qualified in Anatomy and Physiology, Reflexology, Aromatherapy and Indian Head Massage, Diploma in Fertility Massage, Post Grad in Fertility Reflexology, Pregnancy Massage and Pregnancy & Ante Natal Reflexology. I am delighted to share my passion on all things, Acupuncture, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Holistic Therapies with you all. For me, the name Lotus Flower in Buddhism represents Rebirth, Renewal and Resurrection - a chance to start again. When we embrace our healing by going into a state of relaxation we offer ourselves up for Rebirth, Renewal and Resurrection. We can thus face the world reborn, ready to take on the world again. I began training for another career back in 2000 in Reflexology, but life got in the way, and I did not get back to the holistic field until 2011. I began studying Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with Dr. Vincent Carroll in Lansdowne College. Since I qualified in 2014 I have completed a number of post grad courses in TCM - A diploma in Patent Chinese Herbs with Kathleen Dowd in Newlands College of Chinese Medicine. I have travelled to Antwerp to study the Global Balance Series with the revolutionary Dr Richard Tan. I have also compelted Cosmetic Acupuncture with Dr Mei Xing. From a holistic side I have studied Reflexology, Aromatherapy Massage, Indian Head Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Deep Tissue Cupping Massage and a new Holistic 5 Aromatherapy Oil Facial.
Lotus Flower Acupuncture is a massage and holistic therapies venue based on the Baldoyle Industrial Estate, Dublin 13. Samantha at Lotus Flower Acupuncture likes to combine treatments on clients, meaning each experience is bespoke and suits each person seamlessly. Facials can be combined with massages, reflexology with acupuncture, and facials with reflexology.
The concept is run by Samantha and the objective is to allow clients to immerse themselves 100% into the healing. Samantha's passion is all things related to acupuncture, traditional Chinese medicine, and holistic therapies and the name Lotus Flower was chosen to represent the core elements of Buddhism; rebirth, renewal, and resurrection.
The venue itself is delicately decorated and the treatment rooms are private so you can let yourself relax into your quality 'me time'.
