Great haircut and advice

The booking process was smooth although done a bit last minute. That was the only part that went as expected... The English skills of the hairdresser were very very limited, and even with Pictures and looking at samples it took a while to make sure she understood what I was asking. She was very slow and clumsy, and seemed like she was just a trainee as the owner also kept checking what she was doing. I should have been informed if this was the case. The end result was exatcly what I did NOT want, a very yellow blonde when I asked specifically a cool tone. It also looked uneven and even greenish in different light! I left extremely disappointed, almost crying, my hair was better before this horrible treatment!! They did offer me to come back the next day but I did not want to waste any more of my time and risk that they make it even worse. So avoid this place if you can. I wish I never went here, only read good reviews so be aware that at least not all employees here are professional or don’t know enough English to do the job, or maybe they are not familiar with different hair types (mine is naturally blonde and thin, only say Asian customers that could speak the language of the employees). Blowdry was worse than I’d do myself and I’m not good at that. Did not last smooth even on the way to luas (10min).

ricks workshop is very relaxing, gilbert did my hair so lovely and the were very attentive. there are beds at the washing station which was much appreciated. i was asked if i wanted a straight or curly blowdry at the end, it was really nice to have the choice! will definitely return.

Very happy with my hair. Got a recolouring with a red to blonde balayage. The hairdresser really took his time and was very particular in getting the colour to match a photo I had shown him. Only downside is that while my second round of colour was on he went to cut another persons hair and instead of it being on for 25 mins it was on for 45. Normally I don’t mind waiting but I had another appointment to get to after which I just made. Beside that would still highly recommend this salon and I chose it based on previous reviews.

I booked a hair cut and wash last minute (for 90 mins time) via the app, on arrival they asked if I want to add a blow dry and told me it would then be €32 instead of €25. This is very reasonable offer and so I agreed. My whole experience here was lovely. My hair was washed so well and then cut exactly how I wanted it. They then took such great care in drying it for me. I left a very satisfied customer and will definitely be back. I have long hair and this was such good value for money and a great cut!
