Unfortunately I was kinda butchered by the therapists. The skin on my fingers was filed down both while removing the shellac and also while prepping to add more - I understand the odd slip can happen but 5 of my fingers were cut, my little fingers in particular quite badly so I've had to put plasters on them which kinda ruins the whole point of the shellac... Similarly my skin was pinched and left red marks in a few places during the threading. The shellac also is slightly cracked on two fingers
