I got my acrylic nails removed and a full set back on. I have never gotten acrylic nails removed in the way this lady had removed mine. She filed down my acrylic so so much at first it started to burn and become uncomfortable. She then proceeded to get a nail tip from the box and slide it under the remaining acrylic nail left and pull it off. This is meant to be soaked off so to not damage the nail? I could see it had taken away some of my natural nail as it would have if you pulled it off yourself. I found this ‘technique’ of removing acrylics bizarre. In saying this I like the look of the full set that she put on afterwards.. if I had just to of gotten the full set on I would be happy but the removal was definitely not was is supposed to be done as a professional.
