Being in Dublin for only 1 month on business and with a busy schedule I was looking for a salon that I could book not far in advance and without breaking a bank. The booking process was easy via Google and there was no need for prepayment. The salon is cozy and the technician doing my nails very nice and gentle. She did an amazing job and I left very satisfied. Definitely recommend 👍
I booked an appointment at short notice as I was in Dublin for a few days for work. Dominika did an amazing job of my nails! She’s a perfectionist.
Dominika and Bridget were so lovely to sit with and chat to whilst having my nails done. Dominika did an amazing job and it was very fairly priced based on the quality and nature of what I had done. Will definitely revisit the next time I’m in Dublin. Definitely made my birthday special ladies xx
During the week I went into glam nail and beauty salon to see if it would be possible to get my nails done with no appointment. When I went in I was very polite in asking if I could get my nails done and would have totally understood if they said no. The lady at reception was very rude and made me feel uncomfortable and bad for even asking if I could get my nails done. She continuously brought the price up and was very rude and confusing. In the end I felt so awkward that I just decided not to get them done. It was a bad experience I don’t recommend.
I was in Dublin City this evening and my usual nail salon had no availability. I rang glam nails and enquired about their pricing. On first impression a set of acrylics seemed outlandishly overpriced compared to other places in Dublin but I was dead set on getting them done so I headed down. I was greeted by an older lady who quoted me an even more expensive starting price than that I had heard on the phone. I politely asked further how much gems would be and she said in a snarky tone it depended although I had a picture of exactly what I wanted. She was so patronising and I was now looking at €100+ to get a simple set done. I sat and waited for 3 or 4 minutes as she ignored me before leaving. What a horrible way to treat a potential new customer. Money grabbing and rude. In response to the reply I got, I appreciate each salon has different pricing but the quote I got on the phone for acrylics with gel which I explicitly mentioned was different from the price I got in the salon and the phone conversation had no communication barriers, I was not wearing a mask and you were well able to hear what I was saying. There’s no point in excusing being rude to a customer, I’m so patient and I never bother writing reviews but this was just a dreadful experience. I wish you well with your business but I think a friendlier approach to business would go a long way.
